EXPANDED DESCRIPTION

The QUIKSLING MK2 is a nimble lightweight castable frame with a detachably mounted chest sling that snaps on, leaving the frame free to be pushed down under the knees to form a safe triple sling, with a mesh body support hammock dispensing from its pouch to become the fall-through protection sling. The PIW is then ready to be hoisted from the sea in a comfortable 'low deckchair' posture.

The recovery line is helicopter rescue grade. 12mm in diameter, it floats on sea surface. A ship's lights reflective tape is woven into outer braid for an easier detection of the line by a person overboard in dark seas at night.

A bespoke two-shell Orange GRP Cabinet contains the new QUIKSLING MK2 tension-activated recovery system. The removable front shell is clamped against rubber seals by stainless steel catches. All internal parts are detachably mounted for an immediate, emergency use around a vessel perimeter.
